Independent union of metal workers of Serbia (SSMS) is a labor union organization of workers in the metal industry of Serbia that deals with empowering and protecting the rights of metal workers. One of the problems in the work of the trade union was the lack of international experience and cooperation regarding the issues of privatization, safety and health at work, labor councils and similar topics. SSMS was fortunate to get acquainted with the owner of Formac, Mr. Alfredo Martinez in 2015, and to be an active partner in the international events that Former is implementing since then, with regard to the exchange of experience at the international level on the topics mentioned above. As a result of these experiences, SSMS is successfully implementing the activities of protecting workers' rights in Serbia.
