Multi-stakeholder cooperation - 07-08.06.2023 – 22.06.2023

The report details the conference meeting titled “METAVET: Moving towards sustainable industry engagement in VET,” held virtually on the ZOOM platform. The project, led by FORMAC and involving partner organizations such as AECIM, FUOCRA, and FLSPy, aimed to discuss and enhance vocational education and training (VET) models in various countries.

The event began with a registration of participants, followed by a greeting from the project leader. It included presentations by all project members, focusing on the VET models in the partner countries. After a brief intermission, Tomasz Kozior facilitated a discussion on quality standards in VET and the similarities and differences between European and Latin American systems. The session concluded with a summary by the project members.

Subsequent discussions centered on examples of collaboration between VET and industry among the partners, exploring financial mechanisms and the legal framework for VET-industry cooperation. The conversation provided valuable insights into the diverse needs and challenges in the field of VET education across the represented countries. The event concluded with participants sharing their experiences and discussing the adaptation of VET models to specific regional needs, highlighting effective solutions and best practices. The exchange of experiences enriched the understanding of VET systems and contributed to the project’s goals.
