Project VET4Digital
VET4Digital - Building Digital Capacities in VET systems in Sub-Saharan Africa

The VET4Digital project aims to strengthen vocational education and training (VET) systems by enhancing digital skills development in Rwanda, Cameroon, Kenya, and Tanzania. It focuses on improving the capacity of VET providers and aligning training programs with current labor market demands.
The project supports institutional capacity building, curriculum modernization, and the transfer of international best practices. It contributes to national, regional, and global digital transformation strategies, including the EU-Africa Global Gateway and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
VET4Digital engages VET institutions, educators, employers, students, and digital-sector organizations through structured training, mobility activities, research, e-learning platform development, and work-based learning initiatives. Its objective is to increase the relevance, quality, and inclusiveness of digital skills training, enhancing employability and supporting disadvantaged and underrepresented groups.
Implemented over 24 months, VET4Digital promotes sustainable skills development and institutional resilience across Sub-Saharan Africa.
